I'm going to be real with you right now. I recently got a message from someone I thought was a friend basically saying I was a terrible mom who works to much.

This was a case where this person is also a Realtor not succeeding at the level they wanted to and to help themselves feel better they felt the need to tear me down. I knew it and tried not to take it to personal.

It did hurt, as a working mom I do struggle with this feeling I'm missing out on my kids.

I love my career, I love helping change people's lives, love helping them make more money and have less stress.

I love my kids spending time with them, going on vacation, and spending one on one time. I can work long 12 hour days and check my kids out to take them for lunch. It's okay. I look at my life as a pendulum work hard when I need to, and spend extra time with my family. There is no perfect balance but I try.

I've been waiting to share this story for a minute because I did not want to jinx ourselves.
.
I was able to help this cute family sell their home after two realtors had failed to sell it.
.
The first step of how we did it is I met them at the property and we talked about what they could do to get the home ready We replaced the the flooring and repainted the exterior. The daughter moved in and did fantastic staging.
.
This property is located in West Mountain and it was a cute white farmhouse that came with just under 10 acres of land. The two previous realtors barely had any photos of the land which was a huge selling feature of this property.
.
We had aerial photos, interior photos, 3D tour and a video for marketing.
.
We were able to get the home under contract within 5 days and sold within 15 day for $200k more than the previous realtors had had it priced for before they expired.

Hi, I'm Becca! This picture was taken pre-COVID. I wanted to share with you my philosophy when it comes to real estate. I view myself as not only a salesperson, but also a guide. Now, I know people throw up when they think of salespeople so hold on for one moment with me. I have to sell my services to guide my clients through (what will be for most of them) the largest buying and selling decisions of their lives. I do not sell houses. I know that sounds so odd to say I don't sell houses. I sell my process and systems that help homes get sold for top dollar. You will never know about that system if I can't sell myself first. ⁠

Now, the fun part of my job...being a guide! If I didn't have to worry about selling myself and somehow still have clients, that would be awesome (luckily, this does happen to an extent with the number of referrals I get, but I'll get back to the topic at hand) I truly feel l like a guide. I love walking people through the process of buying and selling. Answering ALL the questions that might come up is exciting for me. Really, I am here to make this very stressful process easier.
